Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has been able to make significant progress to Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN as his first full-length album. It reached the top 8 spot on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Following that year, he teamed up with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca that climbed to number five on the Top Latin Albums chart. He worked alongside Noriel for Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and the following year dropped his sophomore album charting Dopamina. In 2021, he appeared on a duet TINI on her streaming smash track Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo was brought up within a musical family, because both his mother and older brother are professional musicians. In interviews, he has stated that music is a must. While a youngster, he played the ukulele guitar and the piano. His initial goal was to become a veterinarian His brother Julian encouraged him to enroll in singing classes with an Cuban teacher.
