Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. In 2000, he began his acting career playing in TV series such as Opposite sex. Evans gained fame because of his performance as his character, the Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the film Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans has appeared in numerous films that adapted comics and graphic novels including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). Evans gained more attention for the role he played as Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019).
